high purity tubing requirements, such as analyzer pipelines, O2 pipelines, inert bulk gas services, medical gas distribution,
ventilation pipelines, etc., depending on the industry.
There are 2 types of standard reducers available : Stainless Steel
Concentric Reducers & Eccentric Reducers. The SS Concentric Reducers one, which resembles a cone, is used to join pipe
sections on the same axis. The SS Eccentric Reducer type has an edge which is parallel to that of the connecting pipe, which
allows it to align with one side of the inlet. Many times the discharge size of a pump is specified small, to allow the use of
lower cost valves at the discharge and then expanded up by means of SS Eccentric Reducer. The use of SS Concentric Reducers
should be considered since they are much more effective at converting the velocity pressure to static pressure. Available in
both MOC Mild Steel/MS SS 202, SS 304, SS 304L, SS 316 & SS 316L
